PHD UAE’s annual BrainScape conference to focus on gamification and engagement

Staged for the fourth time in Dubai, PHD UAE’s (Omnicom Media GroupBrainScape annual conference will this year look at how engagement in general and gamification in particular can enhance business performance for brands.

Set to take place 23 October, the line-up of speakers includes Gabe Zichermann, the founder and CEO of Dopamine and Gamification Co, Rupert Slade, head of International at PHD CEE, and Scott Schnaars, General Manager of Badgeville EMEA. Together, they will demonstrate how brands can make engagement pay.

Gabe Zichermann, a noted speaker, author and a prominent consumer/employee engagement design expert, is an ambassador for gamification, the use of game thinking and dynamics to engage audiences and solve problems. He will be making the case for gamification in the business and marketing context, using concrete examples and offering practical advice.

Rupert Slade will explore how engagement is being developed across touchpoints, measured and made relevant to a brand’s market performance. In other words, Slade will help marketers move to planning on engagement.

Scott Schnaars will be using his experience of developing engagement solutions for a variety of businesses to show how engagement can be enhanced to provide even greater results.

More than 200 marketing professionals from across the MENA region are expected to attend this year’s BrainScape conference.
