Hearts & Science, part of Omnicom Media Group, has appointed Rachel Peace as managing director.

Peace will report to UK chief executive Garrett O’Reilly, who was previously managing director, and work on clients such as Peloton, Ocado, GoCompare and Virgin Voyages.

Previously, Peace was managing partner at MediaCom and head of UK media for The Pharm, WPP’s dedicated consulting agency for Walgreens Boots Alliance.

Prior to her career at WPP, Peace worked as a group client director at Carat. She started her career at Walker Media (now Spark Foundry).

Peace said she was “excited to start afresh” at the agency and added: “Hearts’ vibrant culture, its use of data and technology, and its commitment to creativity and strong relationships offers ambitious clients something unique in the world of media.

“I can’t wait to be a part of this and help usher in a new stage of growth through our industry-leading capabilities.”

Hearts & Science UK launched in 2017. Recently, it won the Peloton media account and extended its relationship with GoCompare.

O’Reilly said: “We are looking to continue the momentum at Hearts that we’ve built over the last 18-months, and Rachel’s track record of working with clients and winning new business is second to none.

“Rachel’s vision for both Hearts and our industry is also ambitious, clear and focused, and I’m excited to help her enact it.”
